Annual Day & School Functions

Our school functions provide a platform for students to showcase their talents through dance, music, drama, speeches and creative performances. These occasions recognise student achievements, encourage participation and bring families and the school community together.

National Celebrations

Important national occasions, such as Independence Day and Republic Day, help students understand India's history, democratic values and national identity. Through assemblies, speeches, patriotic songs and student performances, we encourage respect for our country's heritage and the values of responsible citizenship.

Cultural Programmes

Cultural programmes give students opportunities to appreciate India's rich traditions and diverse art forms. Through selected cultural presentations, traditional dance, music, storytelling and regional themes, students learn to value their heritage while respecting the cultures of others.

Competitions & Talent Showcases

From elocution, drawing and quiz competitions to music, dance and other creative activities, school events encourage students to explore their interests and develop their abilities.

Theme Days & Student Activities

Every event at Gateway International High School offers valuable learning experiences beyond regular lessons. Students may take on responsibilities, work in teams, organise activities, perform before an audience and contribute to the success of school programmes.

We encourage students across all age groups to participate in school events in ways suited to their interests, abilities and developmental stages.

Pre-Primary – Nursery to PP2

Storytelling, creative activities, simple performances and age-appropriate celebrations.

Primary School – Grades 1–5

Cultural presentations, art activities, classroom events, competitions and group performances.

Middle & Senior Grades 6-10

Student-led programmes, speeches, stage performances, exhibitions, competitions and event coordination.
