Library & Learning Centre
Explore, Discover & Grow
We believe that reading helps children develop imagination, language, knowledge and confidence. Our library provides a calm and engaging environment where students can explore subjects beyond the classroom and learn at their own pace.
At Gateway International High School, our Library & Learning Centre is a welcoming space where students can read, discover new ideas and develop a lifelong interest in learning. It supports classroom education by providing students with access to books, reference materials and resources that encourage independent learning.
The Library & Learning Centre brings together a range of age-appropriate reading and learning resources for students across different grade levels.
Students can explore:
- Storybooks and fiction
- Children's literature
- Reference books
- Subject-related books
- Encyclopedias and general knowledge resources
- Educational magazines
- Activity and learning materials
- Digital learning resources
We encourage students to develop regular reading habits from an early age. Students can choose books according to their interests and reading levels, allowing them to discover authors, stories, subjects and ideas that inspire them.
Regular reading helps students strengthen vocabulary, comprehension, communication and imagination while developing the habit of learning independently.
The library complements classroom teaching by giving students opportunities to explore topics in greater depth. Students can use books and other learning resources for projects, assignments, research and general knowledge.
It also encourages students to look beyond their textbooks and develop the curiosity to ask questions and find answers independently.
